Double click on the description field in POS

Enter in the Private Notes in the Private Notes area.

These are displayed under the description but not printed out.

Administrators Only: If the additional box does not appear when you double click on the description field you need to change the POS Setting shown below.

POS Settings tab. Change Advanced Description Edit option to Yes.

This is a Station setting, so you will need to update all stations individually.
