This is a quick guide on the process you can follow at store level to create a multibuy under a promotion code.

Search for Enter Stock Promotion Codes and Lines within the Striven application.

This can be done by typing “prom” or “1127” in the search function on the main screen of the Striven application.

Select the Promotion Code you would like to put this Multibuy under, F2 to view all Active/Inactive codes, or input the product code itself.

A new promotion code can also be created by pressing New (F5)

For example, I am using “Test1” within my Test System, which is under the Promotion code “123”.

You will then select Create New under the relevant promotion code type, under the Multi-buy field on the right. Here we will be doing a Buy quantity for fixed price.

You will then input a Multibuy Name, and Docket Description. The Docket Description is what will appear on the customers receipt itself.

Both options are store discretion, and will differ promotion to promotion

Select add line for the number of items in the Multi-buy), in this example we will select three different items.

Selector = Set this to “Stock”
Value = Stock Code/Stock item in promotion

Set the Number of Items to the number of items within the Multi-buy you are wanting to create, in this example we will input “three”.

Set the Fixed Amount $ to the total cost you are wanting the promotion to be. In this example we will input “10” ($10.00).

GST looks to be calculated into the fixed total amount

Congratulations! That’s it, you have now created a Multi-buy promotion.

Within the highlighted Advanced settings menu. You will expand on the created item as highlighted in red (Marked by the +), and putting the following options on the first item in the promotion (Highlighted in green).

EachPrice Type = Fixed Price
Each Price Value = 10
Each Price Level = Price Level 1

You can also set the active date/s from here

Spread Price (Highlighted Top Right) is set to None.

Confirm within POS that the promotion/s are working, by selecting the Stock Code/s used when creating the promotion, and setting the appropriate quantity. Here we can see within the Total, and Disc % the Multi-buy has been successfully created.
