Mighty Rewards Update v3.0

To assist customers who may have several Mighty Rewards / Home DIY Rewards card, IHG have decided to clean up the Loyalty data behind the scenes to merge customers based on their email address.

As Striven has been provided with the business requirements from IHG and we have redesigned our POS to meet their requirements, if you have issues with how the data has been cleaned behind the scenes or these new processes required, please contact IHG to discuss.

So if a customer had 3 Mighty Rewards cards that were all linked to the same email these will be merged into 1 account.

These changes will take effect in September 2021.

Changes that you will notice in POS will be:

  • When you scan a card to create a new loyalty customer it will first prompt with the customer email address. This needs to be filled in before you can continue to enter in other information about the customer.

     

  • When doing a Loyalty Search by name, you need to have an initial, part of the given name and a postcode.

 

Take Note:

  • If a customer doesn't have an email address, you need to enter in the following email address: noemail@data.com.au

  • If the loyalty system is down, you wont be able to create NEW loyalty customers. You will still be able to create loyalty transactions as normal, it will send these up as soon as it is available.

  • If you update an existing loyalty customer with an email address that already exists in the loyalty system with another card number, it will prompt to “merge” the customers together.
