Follow these steps to create an Electronic Gift Card in Striven.
This allows you to sell an electronic Gift Card and the system will automatically prompt you to swipe the card to put the value on the sale. Refer to …. video for the demonstration.

| 1 | Create a new item in Stock Entry by pressing F5 - New and A - Auto Create new Code. Fill in the Description and the barcode of the Gift Card. Ensure that the Type is set to Electronic Gift Voucher  Press F9 to Save. |
| 2 | Load up that same product, then click on the User Fields tab on the right. Click on the F2 on Tender code linked to  Select GIFTCRDCHG - Electronic Gift Card Charge tender code  Press F9 to save |
Tender Code setup
The following needs to be done to ensure you can “Redeem” Gift Cards

| 1 | From the Striven menu, select System Manager, Tills, Enter Tender Codes.  |
| 2 | Ensure that the tender code GIFTCRDUSED is setup with: Payment Type: Electronic Gift Voucher  If you are using General Ledger, ensure you have set the Tender to Ledger Account correctly. This would most likely be your BANK Account. Press F9 to Save |
