Hide a Stock Item

There are times when you need to “Hide” a stock item, which will mean that this stock item will not appear in any searches, reports or if you type in the Stock Code.
It is best practise to ensure you set the On Hand to 0 before hiding a product.
Do a stock adjustment to set stock on hand to 0.
Follow these steps to Hide (set as Invisible) a stock item.

| 1 | Load up the Stock Maintenance window From the Striven Main Menu Navigate to Stock > Entry > Enter Stock . |

Visibility Options: Visible = Stock is search-able as normal Discontinued = Does not appear in searches at all Hidden = Hidden in searches but when scanning the barcode, it will prompt if you want to mark it as visible again.

| 3 | Press F9 - Save. That Stock Item will now no longer appear in any searches. |
