KVI or “Known Value Items” are items that are sold in a competitor such as Bunnings that the typical consumer roughly knows the price of.

The prices are nationally priced products - where in most cases it shows that Bunnings price these items the same in each state.

IHG is now providing this information as part of your nightly updates.

You can load this information into your system to compare the price you are selling these Known Value Items and work out how to handle these.

The KVI file will now come down as part of your nightly update from IHG.

Competitor Price Management

The KVI details can be loaded into your stock system by using the Competitor Price Management facility.

Any product that has come in via the KVI file is shown on each of those products and marked with CPM for Competitor Price Management.

You can quickly review any competitor prices in POS by clicking on the … button next to the price.
