TONNE to CUBIC METRE

In order to purchase a product by the TONNE but sell it by the CUBIC METRE, follow these instructions.

The Conversion is 1 TONNE is equal to 0.6666 Cubic Metres.

(Example: 12 Tonne = 8 Cubic Metres)

Set the following in Stock Entry.

Sales Unit = 1

Purchase Unit = 0.6666

Open

This means that in the Purchase Order / Receival it will come up with following which matches exactly what the Suppliers invoice is, and updates the Stock On Hand with the correct Cubic Metres.
