The best way to handle Gas products, is to create a bundle item for the different sizes available which updates the onhand from the main “Gas” product.

The main “Gas” product is the product that is Received against, but they never “sell” this product.

They sell the 4kg or other sizes as a “Bundle” product which just reduces the On Hand of the main “gas” product.

Products that are sold in POS

Stores will have different sizes setup as Bundle products and these products are the ones that are sold in POS.

4kg item

Every time this product is sold, it will reduce 4 Kg from the main “Gas” product.

There is no “On Hand” value of the 4Kg product.
