Follow these instructions to setup a new workstation.
This is only valid for a NEW computer with a NEW station that didn't exist beforehand.

| 1 | On the workstation, setup the AutoLogon, Pervasive, StrivenAdmin and all of that first. |
| 2 | Ensure you are mapped to the Server on S: (NET USE S: \\S01\Apps) |
| 3 | Get the latest WSSetup.bat from the Striven server U:\Striven\WSSetup.bat On the workstation load up a DOS prompt. Type in the following: S: Cd \Striven Note: could be RBI if on an old system. WSSETUP xxxx yyyy where xxxx is the station number with 4 leading zeros. So if it was station 3, it would be 0003 where yyyy is the BranchID for this store. If it was PaintSpot Craigieburn the BranchID would be 3020  Press Enter to continue. It will popup with the WEBEASEM.ini but it should have everything filled in for you. So just save and continue. It will then run the Client Update which copies the latest EXEs and data from the server down and does some other setup. |
| 4 | Then setup the Striven icons which will map to: Client Processor C:\WE\xxxx\Programs\DMSClientProcessor.exe Striven C:\WE\xxxx\Programs\MainMenu.exe where xxxx is the station number with 4 leading zeros |
| 5 | Setup the Startup icons by clicking on the start button and type in shell:Startup Add the Start Striven icon to the Startup menu which is pointing to: C:\WE\xxxx\Programs\StartSL.bat xxxx where the xxxx is the station Id with 4 leading zeros. Note: if the StartSL.bat doesnt exist on the local C:, copy it from the S:\WE\Share\Programs to the C:\WE\xxxx\Programs |
| 6 | Setup the Scheduled task to update the machine over night. Name: Striven Update Path: C:\WE\xxxx\Programs\SLSUpd.bat Param: xxxx where xxxx is the stationID with 4 leading zeros. |
| 7 | Restart the machine to ensure that everything is working. |
