Follow these instructions to use the Striven Android Scanner. This scanner can be used for: POS, Ordering, Receivals, Stock takes, Label Queuing

Striven Scan General Use

	Action
1	Click on the Android scanner, touch the Striven Scan app which should be at the bottom left corner of the home screen.
2	The application then loads, waiting for you to search for something in the Search field. You can do the following here: Scan a barcode of an item Type in the name of the item Type in the suppliers part number, warehouse part number or alternate code
3	If an item is scanned it will show you the following information. You can adjust the Scan Quantity by either: keying in the quantity with the keyboard keep on scanning that barcode and it will increment the quantity for you. Touch the blue “arrow” to save this product into the list ready for your next product.
4	As you scan or enter in more items they appear in the list below.
5	You can edit the quantity on a product in the list by selecting it and clicking on the pencil icon.
6	You can remove an item from the list by selecting the item and clicking on the rubbish bin icon.

Tallies

Products that are setup with a Sell Tally, will prompt with a Tally Popup.

Example like below on a Lineal Tally.

Follow these steps to upload the products you have scanned to Striven, so it can be loaded into an Order, POS, Receival etc.


1	To send the products and quantities you have scanned to Striven, click on the '3 dots' on the top right corner of the app.
2	Click on Upload Scan File
3	Click on the little dropdown icon on the Scan File Type and select the transaction type you wish to send this scan to.
4	Enter in a comment into the Description field, as this makes it easier to find in Striven.
5	Click on Upload button at the bottom.
6	The product list is now cleared and your products and scan quantities are now waiting for you to load into Striven.
