Change Average Cost or Last Invoice Cost

As the Average and Last Invoice Costs can normally only be updated when a Receival / Invoice is performed there are times when these need to be quickly altered. Administrators of the store / support can alter these values by following these steps.

In Stock Entry, load the product you wish to alter the Average or Last Invoice Cost.

Click on the Costs tab

Do the following to update the Average Cost value

Further down are the steps to update the Last Invoice Cost

Average Cost

Double-click on the Average Cost field

Enter in the Supervisor Password

After reading this message, click on Yes to continue

Enter in the new value.

Press F9 - Save.

Follow these steps to update the Last Invoice Cost
