Striven HELP

Sales Quantity Breaks

Setting up Sales Quantity Breaks allows Striven to automatically provide a discount to customers if the quantity sold goes over a particular value.

If a Sales Quantity Break has been setup on a product, it would look like this in POS.

Performing a mass change via stock export

1.

Performing a stock export for all of the items you wanted to add it to with Sales Qty Breaks (up to 5) selected.

Set the range to the specific supplier (or any other criteria you wish to export).

2.

Add the sales break data you need into excel and then import back in to attain the discounts for multiple items.

In this example the discount would only apply for items being sold in quantities of 5 to 10, the discount would cease to apply from that point.

You may want to set it so once it hits the box qty it continues to 9999 to ensure the discount does not cease applying if they were to buy multiple boxes.

Or if buying 2 boxes of 50 items incurs a different discount amount you may want the to and from to be 50 - 99 and then a different line (also addable within excel) to go from 100 - 9999, or so on and so forth.

3.

The letters correspond to the columns in the above excel spreadsheet, what each one changes in the line.

You do not need to create a line first in the stock entry window. Importing the file with data in the row for that item will create the line in Striven automatically.
