Release Notes 2016.04.01 (Mighty Rewards Update)


New changes have been implemented to the Mighty Rewards system as requested by Mitre 10 Head Office.

Customer Entry Window


There have been changes to the Customer Entry window. Changes to the layout have made the window look a lot cleaner and less busy there has also been a change to the functionality.

Layout changes

Loyalty Points has moved to the top of the screen

Loyalty Details has been split into Main Customer Details & Additional Customer Details

Opt-In has changed to Communication Preferences.

Interests has been removed.








Communication Preferences - Opt-In/Out

It is important to ensure your POS staff are familiar with the change in the Opt-In and Opt-Out options. The name has changed from Opt-In to Communication Preferences.

NOTE: A ticked box now means Opt-Out.

Green means they are set to Opt-In.Red means they are set to Opt-Out



  



Defaults

Default settings can now be setup when a new Mighty Rewards customer is created.
Such as setting a Debtor Group, Discount Table or any other setting on the Debtor Maintenance window.

Please contact Striven support for assistance on what other options could be set for you.


Warnings

A warning will appear when linking an existing Cash Account to the Mighty Rewards system if that Cash Account already has a Debtor Discount table setup.

There are 3 options:

  1. A:- Clear Discounts for debtor - Will clear all discount tables assigned to this Cash Account


  1. B:- Keep Discounts for debtor - Will keep the discounts and link it to the Mighty Rewards system. But it will only allow this if the "Allow Discount Structure on Loyalty Accounts" security concept has been allowed. Refer to the "Security" chapter for more information


  1. Esc – Exit without selection





Security

Accessing the security options

A number of new security options have been implemented. To view or change these options:

On the main screen menu click on => System Manager / Security / Enter Security Settings

Select POS in the Security code

Expand POS and POS again in the security Information section.


Summary of new security options


Allow adding of Loyalty Bonus Points - If disallowed the user will not be able to sell a Discretionary Point product in POS.

Allow a POS operator to sign-up a new Mighty Rewards customer - A new security concept has been created allowing you to allow or disallow a security group from creating a Mighty Rewards customer.
Allow Discount Structure on Loyalty Accounts - If an existing Cash Customer is linked to the Mighty Rewards system, this option will allow users to keep any discount tables setup on the Cash Account. If this option is disallowed, a supervisor will have to allow it to go through with a valid password.
Allow adding loyalty card to full debtor Account - Allow a user to add a Mighty Rewards card to a Full Debtor Account. If this option is disallowed, a supervisor will have to allow it go through with a valid password.
Allow replace/add cards for Loyalty Customer - If disabled the user will not be able to add or replace a loyalty card on a Mighty Rewards account.
Allow updating of Loyalty Customer - If disabled the user will not be able to alter any details on Mighty Rewards customers.

Discretionary Points


Whenever a discretionary point product is sold, they will no longer print the barcode or stock code on the docket.

POS


Email Address

If a Mighty Rewards customer does not have an email address assigned against their account, then this box will appear asking for it to be filled in.

If the customer no longer wishes to be prompted for an email address, just press F11 – Cancel and it will ask you if you wish to be prompted again.

This is handy for customers who clearly never will have an email address.

Mighty Rewards Quick Access menu

To gain access to the Mighty Rewards Quick Access menu in POS, press => F10 – Details / K – Loyalty Management.





















Day Book Report


There are several new options which have been added to the Day Book report.
To get to this report, click on => POS menu, then Print Day Book report.

New Mighty Rewards Customers added

Use this report to show any new Mighty Rewards customers you have added in the date range specified.

Bonus Loyalty Points

This report will come out if any discretionary points were used for the date range specified on the report.
This will help you ascertain if there is a particular staff member selling a large amount of discretionary points, and also shows which customers it has been given to.

Warning about Mighty Rewards transactions "Waiting for processing"

If there are outstanding transactions waiting to be sent to the Mighty Rewards website, you will be alerted on the Day Book Report. Please ensure you let Striven support know if a warning appears.
