Release Notes - 2022.02
Here are the changes in the 2022.02 release.
Debtor Reprint - Enhancement
All stores will now see the enhanced reprint functionality where it shows the transaction details on the right side.
The following screen is shown if you press F7 - Reprint in POS or view transactions from the Debtor entry window.
Find - Preview
Easily find anything in a previewed report quickly by holding down CONTROL + F or clicking on the magnifying glass icon on the Preview toolbar.
It will then find all the “Smiths” in this document.
To go to the next “Smith”, just click on the up and down arrows on the report toolbar…
Warning Notifications
Backup Warning
If the nightly Striven Backup has failed to complete, then a Warning Notification will be displayed on the Striven Main Menu, on each Workstation.
Update Warning
If there is a Striven Update waiting to be installed overnight, you will receive the following warnings on the main Striven screen and POS.
It is essential that you close Striven on all machines each night, especially if you see these warning messages. This ensures you have the latest version of Striven.

Display Email Address of customer in POS
Now shows the customers email address on the main screen so you can check the email is correct before the sale is finalised.
Also displayed in Trading Details (F10-C in POS).
Display Email Address of customer in Debtor Search
When pressing F2 or searching for a Debtor (anywhere in Striven), the Email Address has replaced Fax Number in the Search Results.
Fax Number can still be entered and stored on the Debtor if required.
USB Cash Drawer
If your store does not have a Docket Printer, but you have a cash drawer; Striven now has the ability to open a cash drawer via a USB connection direct to your POS workstation.
(Note: An adaptor is also required to convert the Cash Drawer RJ11 connection to USB)
Debtor Entry
Transaction Notes
Add Notes to Debtor Transactions; whether Open, or Paid/Completed.
In Debtor Entry, enter the Debtor Code, then Search for a Transaction using F8-View Transactions.
This will show our new Transaction Preview list; select a Transaction from this list to open the Debtor Details screen with information about that transaction.
Press F10-Change Details to bring up the edit to Update Transaction Details
Entering Text in “Tran Notes” will cause them to Print on the Transaction Heading if it is re-printed
(Customers will see this Information on any Re-print of the Transaction)
Debtor Order Report
Debtor Order Report can now be run for “ALL Branches” or individual Branches within your group (defaults to the Branch where the Report is run).
Creditor Re-Orders
When adding a Stock Line to Re-Orders, the pop-up window now also displays the On-Hand Total for ALL Branches linked to your store as the “Total Branch Qty”.
Moving the mouse cursor over the Total Branch Qty will show the break-down of each Branches' On Hand that make up the Total displayed.
The “Total Branch Qty” can be changed to show your branch only, or any combination of branches (click on the Total Branch Qty link to open a choice box).
Creditor Purchase Orders
Can scan & load “Timber Tally” details for Lineal, Square, and Cubic Metre products via the Striven Mobile App.
Stock Weight is now displayed for each Stock Item and also as a Order Total Weight when creating a Purchase Order.
When the Purchase Order is printed, the Total Line Weight and Total Order Weight are printed.
Creditor Receivals
Can scan & load “Timber Tally” details for Lineal, Square, and Cubic Metre products via the Striven Mobile App.
Stock Weight is now displayed for each Stock Item when creating a Creditor Receival.
This Information is also printed on the Creditor Receival Report as the Total Weight per Receival and the Total Weight for All printed Receivals.
Issues Resolved
Open Item Statement wasn't lining up if Taken By was printed.
Creditor Receivals / Invoices - Fix issue where sometimes the Due Date and Creditor Terms were recalculated incorrectly.
Coming Soon
Ability to send emails to particular addresses per transaction type. Example: Send a customer an invoice via email which has a different email address than the statement.
