Price Protection

Price Protection can be setup on products to help you ensure particular products dont go below a particular markup percent. This is a helpful feature if you are worried about an automatic update repricing sensitive lines below a markup value you require.

This is setup on the Stock Entry, General tab.

To set Price Reduction Protect on this product, set the Price Reduction Protect to Yes.

To ensure that system doesnt go below a markup value, set the

Low Markup Protect to Yes and enter in value in the Level field.

This will show a Purple dot on the main Stock screen if markup had wanted to go below this Markup Protect level.

In the below example, I wanted it to be 15% Markup, but Striven has activated in the Price Protection and left the Markup at 40% as that was in the Level field on the product.
